Data Submission Tools
Resources for Preparing and Using Cal-PASS Data
Files should be prepared in accordance with the data submission format requirements outlined in the Data Element Dictionary and validated using the Cal-PASS Data Validation Program. The validation program checks the content of each field, assigns the secondary keys and encrypts the student identifier. Data will not load to the Cal-PASS server without validation.
Cal-PASS Data Element Dictionary (DED)
The DED lists the data fields and definitions that are in the downloaded dataset. Downloaded files are in a comma delimited format by academic year.
